Social media customers have been enthralled by a so-called ‘Russian spy whale’ that was not too long ago noticed in Norwegian waters. Agent Belugov, your cowl is blown!
The beluga whale first approached a fishing boat off the coast of Norway’s Ingoya Island, sporting a harness with a GoPro digicam hooked up. The unusual discovery quickly prompted hypothesis that the whale was a skilled infiltrator.
Twitter had a ball with the thought.
When the whale caught round, some joked that he was a defector.
Maybe our aquatic double agent would make for a superb pet?
Others discovered the speculation to be…attention-grabbing.
