Foxconn will kick off manufacturing at its Wisconsin plant in Might with 1,500 workers, Gov. Tony Evers instructed CNBC this week. That is significantly fewer than the 13,000 that Foxconn and President Donald Trump have mentioned the manufacturing facility would rent since a 2017 announcement on the White Home.
The Taiwan-based electronics maker is finest identified for assembling Apple’s iPhone and offering components for different tech firms’ devices. It intends to construct LCD screens on the Wisconsin plant.
