The counting of money collected in donation containers of the well-known Sai Baba temple in Shirdi was cancelled on Friday as financial institution officers didn’t flip up citing lack of area to maintain cash, Shri Saibaba Sansthan Belief CEO Deepak Muglikar mentioned.
He mentioned the SSST had written to the banks in addition to the Reserve Financial institution of India to resolve this situation.
“Counting of money in our donation containers is completed twice every week within the presence of financial institution officers. The money, on a median, totals Rs 2 crore throughout every counting session, together with Rs 5 lakh in cash. The process is to deposit the money and cash in eight nationalised banks on a rotation foundation,” he defined.
“For the previous few months, banks have been telling us they don’t have area to retailer cash. We have now requested them and the RBI to resolve the issue,” he added.
