FAIRBANKS, Alaska — The town of Fairbanks will enable folks to recreationally use marijuana contained in the licensed shops the place they purchase it.
The Fairbanks Each day Information-Miner experiences the Metropolis Council voted 4-2 Monday in favour of the ordinance, amending the legislation that beforehand prohibited on-site marijuana use at retail hashish shops within the metropolis.
The state handed down guidelines that went into impact earlier this month to permit marijuana use in particular sections of shops.
The town had postponed motion on a measure that may enable on-site consumption so officers may draft a poll measure on the matter for October’s normal election.
